Referral to the Rooyagen PRP Kit in the Clinical Guidelines of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS)2021

The latest clinical guideline from the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) was published in August 2021 based on a systematic review of studies examining the non-arthroplasty treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee in adults. As the most comprehensive clinical guide, this guideline reviews all non-surgical techniques for treating osteoarthritis and provides recommendations for integrating current evidence and clinical practice based on medical records. This guide is a reference for use by trained physicians and physicians who manage the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee and also serves as a source of information for developers and users of clinical practice guidelines and manufacturers of drugs and medical devices.

Of all the methods, including canes and braces, supplements to interventions, gel, corticosteroids and PRP, this 126-page instruction is detailed, and fortunately, new methods such as PRP have been seriously considered and approved by the American association of Hip and Knee surgery (AAHKS).

    It is a matter of pride that the PRP section has been referenced 4 times to the studies of the Rooyagen PRP kit. Out of about 20 world-class studies that were able to enter this study, 4 cases were referred to Rooyagen Kit. On pages 60 to 62 of the report, references to Nos. 446, 447, 448 and 453 refer to studies that have used the Rooyagen PRP kit for treatment. More interestingly, the Rooyagen kit is one of the high-performance kits for PRP processing, and as a result, the level of study is raised.
